Apology
I want to sing an apology for looking with eyes that could not see
One of those people going places I never knew myself in so many faces
I have seen the good side of me
I ask you to accept an apology
As I stand up to be counted as I am
Forgiving myself for trying to please
A world that doesn't give a good...
Got to have mercy on my soul.
They don't care about my soul
That's why I am singing from my soul
an apology
Things that once appealed to me
I am letting them go so that I can free
You are much of my progress
Making more of me without you becoming less
My heart is here My head has found its space
You can count me out of that never-ending race
While I stand up to be counted as I am
forgiving myself for trying to please a world
That doesn't give a good...
got to have mercy on my soul That's why I am singing
From my soul hear me singing
An apology. I will stand up
and be counted as I am
Forgiving myself for trying to please
A world that doesn't give a good....
Got to have mercy on my soul
They don't care about my soul
That's why I am singing from my soul
an apology, please hear me from my soul
an apology, I can't help myself from the soul
an apology is necessary for my soul
